Now here is a Holy grail that is back on my shopping list:
The liberator......78 in country, 72 in private hands, 3 in museums, and 1 at a business in Ontario with an L3 postal code.

Might have to make a call. :)

Don't bother. The guy in L3 ain't likely to sell.

Only 6 M28 Mosins... and I have one of them ;)

Only 9 of those little spanish carbines like mine :) I'm sure there are a few others floating around that are not properly registered.

Sucks that you can't search for both make and model at the same time though. What a POS

I was wrong earlier, there are 18 NZ pattern enfields plus mine, two weren't registered properly.

There are a lot of Lebels though, who would have though? Never seem to see them on the EE here. I think this will certainly be a useful bargaining tool :)

Just keep it down about how the 1903A3s are rarer would ya? ;) :D

Hey this is neat. But could be missused by others.
Also most Canadians have no idea what they own. 1908 Krag Paratrooper? Jump units before WWI!
Krag Peterson? Krag 1910's, 1917's etc. ?
Generic 98's golore.

I would like to shake the hand of the man who's FA's were registered one month and reported 'lost' the next. I could see that with the MAC10, but could someone please explain how you lose an Inglis Bren? Is that like - "well that's funny, could have sworn my Bren gun was on the couch - maybe it slid between the cushions"

wtf?! In area code "R2" they have an Enfield revolver listed as lost on September 29, 2003, but not registered until October 2, 2003! how is that possible?! Actually, that doesn't seem to be the only one registered AFTER it had been stolen...what gives?

The gun would have been still under the old green slip system when it was stolen. Likely it was transferred to the new system upon notification that it was gone. Just took a few days to input.

At some point the old system will have to get discarded, just as soon as they sort out 400,000 errors. This way, if the gun ever shows up, they can check the new system in order to return it to it's rightful owner.

Alberta police have had nearly 200 Glock 22's stolen from them, according to the registry.

HOLY CRAP!!

I had to see for myself.
Click on Stolen, and Public Agency.
Many reported stolen on 10/22/2001

But wait! The guns in the hands of gangs come from collectors! After all, why would a criminal want a police-issued Glock instead of a .22 Derringer?

The "Usefulness" of the Registry show up when you can register a "Black and Decker Solder Gun"! Remember that.

I am glad our tax dollars arn't being wasted!
