the folding subgun idea has been around for a LONG time. in the US, there have been many versions of the same idea since the 60's... maybe even earlier.

Magpul's design is the most refined i've seen, but the most covert was one that looks and functioned as a radio!

I saw a PP90-like gun way back in Popular Mechanics. I think at the time the French were considering it for use at the airport. Very discrete when concealed, but opened and usable in a hurry. I think this was back in the ealry 80's. It was the Ares 9mm FMG. Just GOOGLE for info

Look at the rear behind the trigger group. I would almost guarantee it would be prohibited as an AK variant.

Model 100 is a bullpup-ed Dragunov,
so in CDN it would be twice prohibed.
