Interesting SKS mount ans scope combo.

Receiver cover mounts are junk, don't waste your money. You may as well stick with the irons rather then buy one of the receiver cover mounts.

Why are they so bad?? I am actually going with an AR style stock on my Norc. sks so I will be front mounting a long eye relief or getting something like this

1. You will need to remove the mount every time you clean (after every time you use corrosive ammo), when you remove and replace the mount zero is lost. After the first couple times of doing this you will want to throw the mount in the trash where it belongs.
2. the scope typically sits too far back in that position meaning that you have to use one of the POS leapers compact scopes which are generally junk past 50-75 meters.

In the end irons are 100% cheaper then a receiver cover mount hold zero better and don't require obsurd cheek weld positions to make work.

Using a Russian style side mount generally fixes all those issues.
