Interesting stock adaptation on a SKS

I borrowed this photo from Survivor's. Not the clearest pic,but the foldder does look interesting. Any ideas what it's from?

Looks like a ace galil/skeleton stock with hockey tape covering it ..

It might even be custom, like a locking doorhinge bolted or riveted to the stock, the would doesn't look like it was cut from the same length. If you like side folding stocks, there is a polymer type stock, tapco makes it and I have one on mine. It's not a full bodied, it's thin and then branches down.
