Interesting waterfowl you have shot?

From a few years ago. Did`nt shoot these geese as we were deer hunting. We noticed they were on the edge of a flock of about 5,000 Canadas. We were thinking Graylags. Had never seen this type before. There are four of these geese in the picture.

Was it flying right at you??? Probably trying to rejoin his "flock..."

Actually it came in with two hens from my left 20 yards out and the 3 of them were about two feet above the water straight out front settling into 6 mallard decoys when I gave the transcanarded little bastard a load of #2 steel right in the face!! I don't like left wing sjw ducks, I remove them from the flock right away!! ;)

I didn't shoot them but the weirdest I've encountered was while bear hunting in northern Ontario 4 sandhill cranes coming walking thru the grown over clear cut. They make some weird sounds and stand unbelievably tall

Around the mouth of the thames river there's a bunch of imbred ducks of various breeds. Mostly mallard black and mascovey (no clue how to spell that)

Shot a Sheldrake once. Wish I still had pics. My buddy was gonna get it mounted but never did.

Also a 14 year old banded drake Canvasback and a 20 year old banded Canada goose.
