Interesting Winchester/Eatons .22

I have a Winchester 30-30 that I bought new as a young lad in 1971. I bought it in Minnesota as we were living down there at the time. There are no Canadian stampings on it. It says made in New Haven.

Upon further checking, it may be that only certain commemorative model 94's were made in the Cooey plant. And they were not just 30-30's commemoratives that were produced there. It will take someone better versed in the Winchester history than I to chime in to expand further on this.
It is interesting though that a short time ago I acquired a Winchester/Cooey advertising sign. The gun displayed on it is a model 94!

Just found this thread thanks to the other thread ...

Very nice looking Cooey! I like all Cooey's, and that one is definitely a Keeper :)

All Cooey's are keepers in my eyes!

Great piece of history that I grew up shooting the hey out of.

Showed this thread to my dad who was a Eatons employee at the time of the 100th anniversary, He says lots and I mean lots of 100 anniversary prototypes and proposals came through the catalog sales building back then he even remembers seeing silverware and china sets never saw any rifles but he saw a lawnmower
