A lot of it would have to depend on cost. If you could get it for $200, maybe it's worth it but my guess is that you're looking at $400-500 (I couldn't find Monoblock pricing on their website but their listed 16" barrel runs nearly $200 US). That's an awful lot of money to save 1 1/2-2" of barrel length. Maybe if it changed the firearm's classification from R to NR I MIGHT consider it but you're talking NR from the get go so I'd just live with the slightly extra length. Just find the shortest FH or MB you can to keep the extra length minimal. I think I have seen ones as short as 1" advertised. Examples:
