International Barrels my experience

Thier reamer is probably up to SAAMI spec but hornady bearing surfaces are LONG I'll take a look at my 168 eldms but seriously eldm bullets are often seated a bit deeper than you expect because their bearing surface is just so damn long. Like others said don't get to worked up over it it's better to be short than long.

Not to mention, you can't accurately or consistently measure the throat of a chamber based off of a bullet/loaded round.

Good feedback here, I've been thinking of a .338 Federal barrel and notice they are doing Sig Cross pre-fits - could be a sweet option! Either than or put one on a Tikka action.

Also considering a new barrel for my .223 target rifle, would like to go to 26" from 20", heavier contour, go from 1:9 to 1:8 twist for the 80gr bullets, maybe a Remage conversion. Looks like IBI can do that, too. Neat

FYI, IBI offers shouldered barrels even though there is no mention of them on their website.
I just ordered one last week from IBI for my Defiance Ruckus. 31" finished length fluted MTU in 338 Lapua.
Don't know which other actions they have tenon prints for, but I'd be shocked if they didn't have the tenon prints for Zermatt, Kelbly, Impact etc.

Had a CZ with an IBI that shot amazing. 3-4 weeks out on my carbon for a 7 saum, excited to try it out.

I have a couple hundred rounds through this saum now, very impressed with how it shoots.

Seems finicky with burgers, but loves the accubonds so far.
