I wonder if the 700 Parkerized would be available in 338 Laupa, or is that considered too tactical a calibre?

Not sure how that will play out it is a military caliber to some countries.
In talking with the Remington Canada LE rep yesterday apparently there will be 1 more small shipment of 700P rifles that got through the US system due to a DOS clerical error. I bet someones arse is in a wringer over that.
Not sure what is on the shipment, but will post what will be available as soon as I hear anything.
I spoke with a friend of mine who's the Remington LE rep. in Québec for the Gravel Agency. He basically confirmed what has been said by Rick. End users are asked for anything ''Police'' or ''Tactical''. So I can get them at work, but not at home!!!
He said that their lobbyist (Rem's) are working on it with the US gov't and DOS. The problem is south of the border for one time. Let's cross our fingers.
