I'm no fan boy, never dealt with them. I do however find it ridiculous that so many feel that Amazon style shipping should be the norm for every business. Especially over the holidays.

Maybe the OP should try calling them, it may be more successful than posting in the General Forum on CGN.

Their own website said 2 to 8 days shipping before they corrected it. Maybe they should message customers first? They are running an online business only after all.

I mean, it is online only, so the rifles are already in the box, how much does it take?

You literally only have to put the shipping label onto the box.

Maybe the guy at intersurplus needs some lesson as to how express himself better. Nobody expects him to be responsible for the CP strike, why not say it in clear words? French I guess, no pun intended. I have some rifles I want to sell but I am holding out until the CP mess is on track again.

Pretty sure he is not a scammer, why communicate like one?

I don't consider them a serious business, especially after dealing with Trade-Ex for so many years. Many of their comments/replies on this forum are straight up defensive.

Their website does not say anything about shipping delays because of CP strike. It actually says this:

When ordering, you will receive by email or text message, according to your preference, the tracking number of the package.

IMHO, if you are open for business over the holidays (and be it just you website), and you accept payment, then you better ship the merchandise asap.

I ordered and paid before Christmas. I have a tracking number from CP from after Christmas which is exactly what I expected. CP is still telling me shipment delayed. I’m in no rush. Maybe UPS hasn’t even picked it up yet?

That's what they are telling all of us; however I had ordered some parts in Manitoba the day before they went back to work. 3 days before they picked it up; 3 days to my door in southern Ontario. I was surprised.

When a Conservative PM does not reverse the OIC and the Bill the day he is elected; I wonder how many will be bad mouthing them here? A bunch I would think.
