$$$ into reloading

Easily 5K, I got two dillons, 1 rockchucker and just get a T-7. Some will have to go for sure.

I reload for handguns mainly, since I stop hunting, my rifle equipment is obsolete..but you know , they are things we are not able to part from, just in case, HÉ!, I can find on the EE a rifle that need some love....!

Reload from 38 to 4570GVT. And it is an activity that is so fun!

Was at Dante yesterday to get some 9mm components, there is a Para LTC in 9 coming home...

Must be at least 5k in tools and equipment just for reloading/casting.

We don't even want to go into components, tools for gun care mtm cases etc.

I got a funny look from the guy at the sporting goods store who was trying to figure out how to get the mtm boxes stacked neatly and I told him I understood his trouble, because he didn't have nearly as many of them as I do.
 
Not including the components I've bought over the years, my basic set up (RCBS Rockchucker kit, manuals, dies, shell holders, tumbler, used office desk, and other odds & ends tools) is probably just over $1000 or so. Some of you guys have pretty elaborate set-ups! Don’t let your wives find out.
 
I just got into reloading this past summer and already i at least $1000 invested in equipment, not to mention all the bullets, primers, brass, cleaning equipment... Gee it all adds up quickly.. A buddy of mine wants to sell me another Dillon 550.. and i have resisted so far... not too sure how long i can resist...

As far as wives. i have had two ex wives already and working on my third.. LOL

When I was in my 20's I was trying to find a woman that could afford me. In my 30's I started looking for one that could stand me. Having as much luck now as then......................
 
I have lots of dies for hard to get factory cal.'s or obsolete without reloading.
and a few wildcat's.how can you put a price on that compared to the fun you get from doing it ,then shooting these.
aprox.$20 thou.on hand.
That has been repaid in enjoyment .
I reload my premiums for 1/2 or less and get to shoot 250 savage,6.5x52 carcano,7.5 swiss,and 11mm mauser.
The return on the investment PRICELESS!
 
I have an assortment of equipment: RCBS, LEE, FORSTER to mention my basics. I bought a 44 Mag in 1967, and it came with an assortment of equipment for casting bullets, and a lube & size contraption that could have been on the March West. I still use the scale and funnel (aluminum). To replace everything - $3000. To replace what is necessary - $2000. I have reloaded everything from .222 Remington to 338 Winchester and 44 Mag.
 
I started reloading because I thought 50.00 a box for 32-40 factory was too much.Rifle is long gone and I am easy 5000.00 into this hobby.Once you start loading for one caliber it quickly becomes 30.What the hell,good money chasing good as far as I am concerned.The day will come when it all pays off.
 
Have no clue. I started out trying to count the savings to see how long it would take to pay off my first turret press.

GAVE UP...

Always picking up new (ie new, & used "new for me") dies, molds, presses, lubersizers and such.

Put it this way... between me and the buddies I have who reload.... we spent enough to keep shooting cheap and custom tuned ammo for a LONG time. :)

included RCBS press 4 sets of dies, Scale, 30-06 brass(200) Books, and small bits...
add powder primers and bullets + 300.00
Case Trimmer +100.00

So $550.00 total.
and i have 2 sets of dies to sell.
