intrested in a value on a deactivated mg08

I have searched several places and books cant seem to be able put any kind of value to it anyone have an idea or a place to look? looking for the value of a ww1 mg08 deactivated on its stand welded solid with no #### or click.

Is there any history on it i.e. where it was captured and the unit.
the ones i've seen in the past were in mint condition and sold for $1500.-$3000.
