Introducing Black Creek Labs BCL-102 Mk7 Mk7X .308Win 6.5CM Non-Restricted Rifles

There is no Milspec for these.. If you look at the history of AR-10 and LR308, there are a ridiculous number of versions.

The Canadian Military spec for a 7.62x51 AR format rifle can only be the Armalite pattern since those are the only AR's issued by the CF in 7.62x51. The Brit spec would be the SR25 pattern (LMT), as would the Kiwi. There is no US Milspec, true, but that doesn't mean there are no military specifications for them.

Thanks CSC for the overview.

But 300 rounds at 25m is hardly anytime more than a test fire. We need some accuracy reports, how well it functions with different ammo and different magazines.

Did it require to be cleaned during the 300rds session ? Or it could have gone thru without anything else than the initial coating of CLP ?

I purchased a "demo" MK7 directly from BCL and the service was good. Emails back within 24 hours and all my questions answered. I had a rifle shipped out to me after only a few days of back and forth. I have over 300 rounds through it (I had alot of loose rounds, so hard to count) and it was grouping at about 1.75 MOA with a bucket full of random 308 ammo, until I switched to SMK 175 gr. (on BCL's recommendation) and I'm down to under 1.5 and I'm at best a "slightly above average" shooter. Came with a 5 round Magpul Pmag.

Need multiple non-biased real world reviews.
Maybe some demo units to some 3 gun shooters or teams like Team White Rice.

Theres something screwy here. I have a mk7.. its flawless with the fit and finish.. then im seing reviever sets and they look like crap.. why the difference in quality? I dont understand.
