Introducing our newest chassis: The MDT LSS (Light Sniper System)

We can we expect to see the LSS chassis for the Savage LA to be shipped out? I have my pre-order submitted and my CC has already been charged.

They are at paint right now.... takes about 2 weeks max.

I am hoping these are being packed up for shipping, as I don't know how much longer I am willing to wait? They were suppose to be out in February. I really don't think credit cards should be charged till the product is ready to ship, but that is just my opinion.

Just found the linked wood stock and grips on the Boyds website and they really make me want to put them on a LSS chassis not sure if it would worker not, the length of pull seems like it would be short, but in my head it looks like a real purdy combination.

Now to wait for a long action version for my T3 varmint 300mag or to invest in a 243 for coyotes etc.

You are right, and our apologies for this. We had a small dimensional issue in manufacturing, that made the wall to thin close to the trigger. Most people would have never noticed this, but as a company we have a policy that we never ever sacrifice anything for quality. As much as it hurt us and our customers to delay this shipment, we know when we finally send these out the quality will be good.

Approximately how long will the delay be?

Um....

Sorry to disappoint...but, the page you linked to says:

"INTERNATIONAL ORDERS FOR THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED"

Received my LSS Savage LA chassis today in FDE. Looks great and I will get it put together temporarily, so I can take some pictures of it. Still have to machine the barrel for the muzzle brake I plan to use.

Any plans to build something like this with a full length fore-end on it? I'm thinking 12 inch fore-end.

I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a cupcake.

If it also had something like this to get around the Savage bottom bolt release, that'd be icing on the cupcake, so to speak.
