The LAM 2 RED is a dual function device; providing the utility and operational effectiveness of a IR and visible laser combined in one compact device that can be quickly mounted/dismounted on any picatinny rail. At just 230g, the LAM 2 RED is amongst the lightest aimers in its class.
A sturdy, waterproof metal body houses the LAM 2 RED. The LAM 2 RED uses a powerful non eye-safe laser that reaches targets as far as 3 kilometers away in IR and 2 kilometers away in visible. The LAM 2 RED can be momentarily turned on or off with a remote membrane switch, which can be attached to a convenient place on a firearm with velcro tape. Using the momentary switch saves battery life and decreases the time the shooter can be seen through night vision devices. A simple reliable mechanism enables precise windage and elevation beam adjustment.
The short range mode of the LAM 2 RED is designed for force on force training. A mechanical safety block protects the user from an unintended switch into non-eye-safe long range mode. With minimal beam divergence, solid audible step adjustments, compact dimensions, powerful class 3b laser and full military spec construction, this unit is an unbeatable choice in laser aiming modules.
