Introducing the MDT Skeleton Rifle Stock (Buttstock)

See the Law Tactical folding stock adaptor.

While it seems a good product for an AR specific usage, for an AR compatible chassis system (as in not an actual AR15) I'd probably go with the hera arms.

WOW, I think the PRS is no longer on my shopping list!

Is it made of polymer or aluminium?

Is it only compatible with mdtac chassis, or it can fit chassis and stocks from other manufacturers that uses PRS stocks?

thanks
It is made of Aluminum.
It can be mounted on other chassis as well, but it cannot be used on the AR-15 as the buffer tube is not long enough.

What provision for sling/monopod mounting is there on this new stock?

Can a rail be added to the bottom of the stock, will there be a sling swivel stud and/or flush fitting swivel cup?
There is provision for a QD Sling mount.
Yes, a 2.5" rail can be added to the bottom!

The reason to use the PRS (precision rifle stock) is mainly because it has a flat bottom, which allows you to rest the stock properly on a shooting bag. So, while I very much like the look and features of your new stock I'm afraid that you've missed the boat on one of the most important aspects of what makes a precision butt stock. Of course, it could be very easily fixed with just a minor redesign.

I suggest you look at some of the skeleton designs from other makers of precision stocks, Dolphin for example, to see what the current state of the art is. They all have a flat (horizontal) bottom available.

I will also be one of the first customers for this stock if you see fit to make it usable on a shooting bag.

We actually designed it like this on purpose. We also get comments that people do not like the PRS, because the bottom is flat. They like to be able to adjust their position by moving the bag back and forth.

This however is an easy solution. There are 2 threaded holes on the bottom to mount a rail. We will design a piece that bolts on to make the bottom flat.
Thanks for this feedback!

Will the folding stock be a completely different stock that will be made in the future, or if it´s only a part that will be added to this stock?

I can't answer this accurately at this time. It is still too early in the design stage, and we are working on a few different options. We should know more in about a month!

I think I'll wait to see about the folding model before getting in on the preorder of this model then.
thanks!
