the bench mat is a great idea, one thing I would like to see would be a kind of clip on "wall" for the back and sides, for the times when the little springs spontaneously decide to take flight when you remove that thing you shouldn't have, but just want to see how it worked.
what about brass catchers / deflectors?
something that attaches to the top pic rail of a rifle, then hangs down over the ejection port? Everyone else either has cheaply made ones, or ridiculously expensive overly complicated designs.
