I have owned firearms since the age of 16 when my dad bought me a Parker Hale .308 and S & W semi-auto 12 gauge. That was 1976. When the gun registry was introduced, I purposely didn't register for a POL or my guns out of protest. I waited and bided my time hoping the Conservatives would kill it. Fortunately they did, but unfortunately they didn't kill the requirement to have a POL/PAL to own firearms. I finally got myself legal by challenging the exams for restricted & non-restricted. Now that I am legal, I will be looking to add some firearms to my collection and good used ones will do just fine.
