I picked up a used Citori 725 last fall, after trap season, and I've been doing some reading to make sure that I'm at least close to being ready for the spring.
One item that keeps coming up is the Invector DS tubes that come with the gun running close on 2 sizes too large for their listed constriction, such as the modified being more like an IC. Some say they are biased for Steel rather than Lead.
I use the modified, mostly, in my other gun (11-87) for Trap. It looks like I might have to buy some Carlsons tubes to get anything close to that constriction in the 725
Are you DS fellows using the supplied tubes on the range, or are you replacing them with aftermarket?
Or do the Browning ones "just work" despite the conventional wisdom?
I'm still very new to this removable choke business..
