Invector Plus chokes

Invector plus is shared with Browning and Winchester, it is not brand specific (example: Carlson chokes makes lots of quality aftermarket Invector plus chokes to fit Browning and Winchesters). Just make sure you get the correct gauge Invector plus tubes.

What year is your bps as the older models befor 1994 take browning invector . the choke is about 1 1/4 inches long .invector plus is a longer choke at about 2 1/4 inches . post 94 production .

Just got this from Browning's website:
[start]
To maximize versatility and optimize shot pattern performance the BPS shotgun features interchangeable chokes. 12 and 20 gauge models receive the Invector-Plus system and 10 and 28 gauge and .410 bore models benefit from the Standard Invector system.

Older Brownings run standard invectors regardless of model. The switch to Invector Plus occurred some time in the early 90's. Depending on the year of manufacture their will be plenty of BPS's in use that run both. It is usually stamped right on the barrel Invector or Invector +...

The invector plus was introduced in 1989 and is in the 89 browning catalog where it first showed it's head
That being said I have 92's with the old invector designs that came out on 1983
The back bore barrel was the key. Have one you get invector plus . As spank says check your barrel to be sure

Cheers
