Buy what you want if its available & legal... Write letters & be part of the solution... Which brings me to my next point... Did you write the Prime Minister, his Minister of Public Safety & his Minister of Justice over the Swiss Arms issue? I did, and I don't even own a Swiss Arms!!!

Seriously, I'm on a black rifle spending spree this year. The more there are out there the more difficult it will be for them to justify taking them out of our hands.

Sorry but I just can't see it happening. The number of AR's in Canada privately owned probably exceeds 100,000 realistically. That's a hell of a lot of people for the government to piss off.

Sorry but I just can't see it happening. The number of AR's in Canada privately owned probably exceeds 100,000 realistically. That's a hell of a lot of people for the government to piss off.

I think that number might be overly generous. 50,000-ish minus the thousand or so Swiss Arms is probably a bit more realistic. The Government has been pissing people off since C-17, and we really haven't seen much of a change with real firearms legislation reform. And so they piss us off: what's our recourse, vote NDP?
