Yes if you needed service I don't know if there is anything in Canada but I would have no problem mailing it back to Europe as it only took 3 days to get to me when I bought it.
But it is built like a tank so I don't worry about it.

I think I am going to go for an ATACR or K624i now,, we mite need to shoot some time though

I have two of their 6x42 and 4x24, there's not much to go wrong with them, god glass and yes... they are built like tanks!... but if you use the search functions, there are many threads of the challenges some guys had, trying to get their scope serviced.
I would interesting to know what Opticstrade's warranty/service is like? Do they simply exchange defective scope... or do they have to go back to the factory?
I could be mistaken but I seem to remember hirsch precision carrying IOR but dropping the line after having warranty issues with the manufacturer (or importer ?)
