I believe it will work just fine on an IPod touch. Much less pricey, but no phone.

IPod touch is one solution, another is the TI based MOBALL discussed earlier in this thread.

The latest version of iSnipe does appear to do a bit more than the military version of Bulletflight with the ability to change between all the same ballistic coefficients as Bulletflight.. The range finder on iSnipe and the wind direction placement seems to be easier to adjust and find. I've never used either, but wondering in actual practice if this really is the case and what if anything bulletflight does better than the current version of iSnipe to justify the extra $24 in cost.

I'll start a simple Blackberry version on Monday. Should be ready by the end of the week.
Edit: How much memory do you Blackberry people have? Less than 2 meg? I have a 2GB SanDisk microSD card , I don't know if that's normal.

Enough for one day, brain hurts :).
What would a normal person want for practical field use, as opposed to a desktop program?

Day 2 was easier.

I'll just let it remember what you typed in the last time. Input screen and a table screen, that should do. Then I'll work out how to get it downloadable for y'all.

I have never deployed a Blackberry app before, but this is usable on my Curve: http://www.gunsim.com/gunsim.jad
From your BlackBerry, click install and then run. It shows up in the Download folder. It it certainly usable, I'm sure you can find something wrong with the user interface. It may well not work on your phone, and is offered in the optimistic hope that it may be useful to someone. Let me know if you get it to work!
There will no doubt be an improved version later on.
