IPSC 2012 national

He is jumping down. I will put the whole series of pictures up so you can see our leader in action. :)
Thanks Mark.

Eugene, I WISH I could jump up like that - but I need the assistance of gravity to make any movement that severe. :)

I'm almost done editing my hatcam videos from the match. I'll have them on youtube over the weekend so all can see what I saw. The great thing about most action videos is you rarely get to see the score. :D

Great match cant wait for next year again!!
Many Thanks to all volunteers and sponsors!!

Congratulations also to all Champions!!

Now does anybody have knowledge who Scott Penner is?
Like where how long and who he is?
Knowing is half the battle they say..really thought is was JP or Mike D
in standard when Burrell cant make it

Scott was the second placing Canadian in Standard Division at the World Shoot Last year with 53rd placing - 78 % - beating 3 of our national team members.
Last year at the nationals, he was 85% in Open division with a standard gun; having had too much grip on his standard gun - failing the box test.
He's one to watch.

Scott P is from Alberta. Not 100% sure how long he's been shooting standard but he shoots a lot of USPSA. Came in 4th overall Limited at Double Tap in June and 5th overall Limited at Area 1 (pretty sure those were his results, just going off the top of my head).

Oh ya. Forgot about him getting bumped to open last year. And of course, as was pointed out, he shot really well in Greece.

Had the fortune of being in the same squad with him in Greece.
He attacks stages as aggressively as anyone I've ever seen in this sport.
On top of this, he's a really nice guy.

Good to see he's doing so well.
Keep it up Scott.

I keep telling him to watch out cause I plan to steal that leg bracelet he is using, as I think that it may make me fast too .Our squad at the world shoot , hope you don’t mind this picture Scott .

I am already looking forward to NB. I had blast this year. Met lots of nice guys. Never fought that guys from BC could be friendly :) it was pleasure shooting with Randy and Clint also we had a great conversation with Mark.

As you can see from the pics Scott is actually a cyborg, should be bumped to Open just because of the brace on his knee.

Cool pic, and no, I don't mind at all. As for the questions, I shot my first IPSC match in January of 2010. Before that I had a little over a year of IDPA, thats about it for competitive shooting....so far. I tore my ACL at the AB. Provincials in 2010 and had surgery to repair it that winter. I wear the brace as a precaution at matches, just to be sure I don't injure it again. I owe a lot to Frank Koch, who took me under his wing and has been a fantastic training partner and mentor. I also have a wonderful wife who supports and understands my passion for the sport. And a huge thank you to all the Alberta shooters for their support as well.

Scott
