IPSC 2012 national

Congratulations to S. Dring from Alberta on winning our registration early-bird draw for a CR Speed Belt, Holster, and 4 mag pouches. Thanks as well to all that have sent in their registrations early, it is greatly appreciated.

Stages look good. A little bit of everything. Looking forward to seeing in person as a few targets look like they are going to be right on 90. But that's the problem with drawings stuff always looks a bit different in reality. Thanks for all the hard work.

We are down to less than 70 spots left, and registrations are starting to come in faster again, deadline is June 15 to avoid late fees.

Just a friendly reminder that late fees will be in effect for registrations received after June 15th, as of today there are only about 60 spots left.

Just wanted to confirm: Does a person have to have his/her Black Badge completed to register? Is Black Badge course without the two matches sufficient?

Since this is Nationals, you should send email to Sean H. and ask him.
I know that BB is require to shoot IPSC period but no idea if you need more then one shoot (which is classifier) to be good for Nationals.
Go to IPSC Canada website and find email to Sean, he will help you.

You can shoot any matches with probation status. Though I won't recommend going to a Level III match before even going trough several small matches.

Who makes you shoot two matches? All you have to do here is your Novice match, and that can be the Nationals if you so desire.

adamg.....it would be highly recommended to at least shoot one Level 2 (as euxx suggested) or even a couple of club matches before you go to a challenge as big as a Level 3 match (even though its not necessary).....if you have that much interest in it surely you can get a match or two in within the next 2 months to get some experience/extra knowledge

Please check with your section coordinator. The final step in completing your black badge is your successful completion in a match. The section determines the level and quantity of the match; it varies between them. If you have and the answer is "you're complete." you can shoot any match in the world.
