Sigh, only 2 outdoor matches in Edmonton next year

Would have been nice to see spring and fall matches in Edmonton.

well we tried starting the outdoor season in the beginning of April. However after having been snowed out a few times it was decided that the end of April was a safer bet.

as for more matches in Edmonton, the only way we could have more matches is to either hold more qualifiers or cancel someone else's match out.

Or, since the 2 April matches are in the south (Lethbridge),
and the 2 June matches are in the south (Strathmore),
and the provincials are in the south (Canmore)...

move the 2 June matches from Strathmore up to Spruce Grove, especially since there are 2 more Strathmore matches in August.

Tentative. The Nationals are traditionally on the week before the August long weekend....

as far as i know the dates for the 2006 Nationals are firm.

Ivan's suggestion sounds good. My opinion means nothing however as I'm not one of the folks who will have to host the extra match in Spruce Grove.

As per an email inquiry a few weeks ago... the Regional Director confirmed, for me, the dates of the CanNats are as noted above (Aug 3rd - 6th).
