IPSC Ammo Regulations

You need to aim for PF 130 when reloading in general.
Some powders are temp and air pressure sensitive, there is always a chance powder charge wasn't perfect with flake powders. Bullets never weigh their exact claimed weight where 124gr bullet may be actually under 123gn.
Just a couple weeks ago I barely made PF at 126 after extra shot at Chrono. My loads were supposed to be at 129. There was a girl at the match who made it.... with PF 125 ...lol

Last year at the Manitoba Provincials they pulled a bullet that was 147.0 grains. The 3 velocities averaged out to 130.0 PF, I was so happy.

When I load a batch of 500 rounds I load an extra 10 to run through the chrony. The last five batches:

130.29
130.68
130.39
130.64
130.98

At Nationals, MB Provincials, and MN Sectionals they were all above 131 but those were measured with Labradars.

Those are great numbers, almost unbelievable

You need to buy a few different brands and flavors to not only run thru Chrono to check what PF that ammo makes in your gun but also to confirm the ammo chambers and cases eject 100%. I'd also suggest not to use 115gn ammo.

Loom at FH Munitions for 9mm that has been used in IPSC by top shooters. They are making new factory ammo in Calgary.
