Our Club is getting into IPSC Pistol/Shotgun Shooting, however our backstop although new and over the standard range construction for height etc., they only put less than a 6" layer of soil for hydroseeding and the remainder of the surface is full of rock and some rocks are substantial in size. Seeing as you can shoot from 7M, this would not seem to be a safe backstop for this type of sport.
Could anyone comment on this and perhaps a recommendation on how to prepare a backstop for IPSC shooting. Thanks.
