IPSC Black Badge course where to find?

Hi everyone,

I checked the official website in Ontario for IPSC:
https://www.ipsc-ont.org/bbcourse.htm
... and there is no courses available to register. There is only one but it is full.

Moreover, people are rumouring that the Winter is approaching - there might be no BB Courses anytime soon until the spring or summer comes.

My club doesn't do BB courses, they only provide training to everyone who has taken BB.

Are there any good news for me as I don't want to wait until summer.
 
You need to read that page again. Slowly. Admittedly, the person who wrote most of that text didn't want to make it obvious. It is probably part of the challenge they want you to pass.
 
Yes, I did that. I am not sure if you understood the question I am trying to ask. Once you do, then becomes clear that there is no need to re-read the website as it is not applicable to my question at all. Simply because it won't provide the info I am asking in this thread.
 
I admit, I don't understand if you want to hear more rumours or you just don't get what you need to do. The IPSC Ontario page lists the current courses. Courses are being posted when BB instructors decide to run them. In some cases, courses aren't posted there at all (see #4). Some instructors do run courses during winter time. Your best bet is still do what #4 say.
 
Reality is the (accessible) BB courses tend to fill up very fast indeed, with many of the spots filled by hosting club members before the course is even posted on the IPSC site. Took me a while before I was able to sign up for one as well.

Chances are you may have to wait till the spring. But if you want to be proactive, suggest you might look at organizing your own course. If you can get a group together and range to host i’m sure one of BB instructors would be happy to teach the course. Given the level of interest and difficulty of finding a BB course, i’m Sure you could easily find several others on CGN that would also be interested. I’d also heard recently one of the clubs near Hamilton might be organizing/hosting a course in early December. I’ll check with my source on this and pm you if it’s so. You might also want to google and contact ‘Ipsc Alex’ and see if he is offering any upcoming BB courses.

Edit to add: Wentworth Shooting Club in Hamilton is the club I’d heard was looking to host a BB course in early December. If that works for you Suggest you contact the club rep and see if you can get on their list.

It is Target Sports Canada. They have IPSC training sessions every week. I asked at the club and they responded that they don't conduct the Black Badge Course. :( So I am believe that I have to look for other places which do.
 
Also, how many people would be required at a minimum to have the facilitators be interested in conducting a Black Badge session? Is it typically 3-4 or like 10? I don't think I can find 10 people, but if it is like 3-4 - then there is a chance.
