Hi,

I live in the Kitchener area, and I would like to know if there will be any IPSC courses run in the area in the months of July and August. By area I mean a couple hours drive away.

everyone is so busy in the middle of the season, or with their own things. there will be some courses in the fall/winter.

Have fun, take your time. Its more about safety before your running around like a nut!
 
Nationals are end of July and the big Summerslam match a week before that. I'm sure there will be a course within your driving range in the not so distant future.
 
Theres a course Sept 17th to 18th at Sharon. $194 dollars. You can email them and ask for more info.

Sorry I had the wrong date. Here is more info:

It's Sept 10th for the qualification shoot from 9:00am to 10:00 am to get 19 out of 20 shots on a 10x10 piece of paper and if you pass you can move on

The BB course is on Sept 17th and 18th and are full days. They ask that you bring all IPSC equipment for these 2 days and a minimum of 600 rounds of ammo.

Cost is $194

Can email the club to get more info as there is PDF with all the info but I don't have it.
 
Again, thanks for the info. I will contact the Coordinator, to work something out. As a footnote I have been BB qualified, but that was going back 20 years. I've always wanted to get back into it, and I think I've put it off long enough. As they say life is short.
 
Unfortunately I can't make the Aug 19-21 date. I going away that weekend, and can't change plans. If there are anymore dates please let me know. As Humman posted above, there isn't much information coming from the coordinator, or the IPSC web page.

While I'm here, I have another question. I don't have the necessary equipment yet, ie holster, mags, and mag pouches. I have a CZ 85 combat that I would like to use. Can anyone point me in the right direction to buy these items.?

I bought all the stuff recently from doubletap sports which is a sponsor. If you call him, tell him the gun you have and you want a belt and holster for ipsc he will offer suggestions on mag pouches and sizing for the belt and a holster http://www.doubletapsports.com/

I didn't get any of the race stuff, just a normal bladetech holster, doubletap branded belt and 5 ghost mag pouches and it was around $300. The race holster was atleast double the cost of my holster but if your gonna go all out, better to do so from the start to spend once, cry once.
