Hi,

So this will seem like a stupid question but I'm an IPSC newbie. If I ran a Tanfoglio limited custom extreme, a SAO so would be standard division. But I guess even if I put an optic on it then I guess I would be in Production Optics but at the start cocked and safety on?

Thanks

Get the IPSC rules book and look to the allowed features for each division, standard must fit in the box, no optics, no compensators. If you put an optic sight you jump right to open.

Definitely going to open division as soon as you put that optic on it. Most of the people in that division are absolutely crazy (in my view anyways), so my opinion would be that if you want to run production optics , then get an actual production gun and slap an optic on it. I suggest Shadow 2 or Sig P320 Legion. They seem to be the most popular for optics.

I have two beautiful Sig p320 legions up for sale all supped up for IPCS.
