ipsc dress code???

You have to do it properly, nothing underneath. A match with a prone stage would be ideal for spectators.

This is gotta be the most 'snag free' outfit:

I was just being silly, after 5 beers... finishing my 6th... ok-done...

But I'm most def getting 10K Berry's 124gr HBRN bullets next time :D :D

I know it states no camoflage but nothing else. Can jeans or NON camo(khaki, cargo pant) be worn instead of stupid shorts or are shorts a rule?

Read it again......

it does not say "no camoflage". It says that it is discouraged and is up to the MDs discretion..

There is a HUGE difference between the two concepts.

IPSC dress code? Well, from some of the guys I've seen I believe the goal is to look as ridiculous as possible courtesy of the tightest, brightest shirt you can possibly fit combined with mag pouches that look more like astronauts' toolbelts and guns that have magwells wider than the shooter's spread-fingered hand.

;)

P.S. If you don't find that funny, you're part of the problem.

Bigger magwells are for people who can't get it in. Real shooters like it tight :stirthepot2:

There's a difference between hunting camouflage and military. I've seen the occasional hunting camo, but if one is not trying to blend in with one's surroundings, why bother?

+1 on the cargo pants - good for holding loose rounds, removed mags, etc. Very practical.

Walter is right, some Canadians wore them at the World Shoot in Indonesia and the Aussies were still taking about it a the Bianchi Cup last year:)

Sounds like a lot of fun to be had...Theme nite's perhaps in the future of IPSC???
Magnum pi nite(moustace manditory)
Beach nite ( shoot without spillin your drink)
Dirty harry nite

FYI you can buy tactical kilts from a company in Seattle, WA. I shot with a guy last summer who wore them. They were, a ....cool.:D

Take Care
