IPSC events around NE BC?

I live in north eastern BC and I am very interested in IPSC shooting. I am wondering if anyone out there knows of any events in my area that I can check out, or should I just sign up for the Black Badge course?
 
North east as in Fort Nelson or FSJ? Closest matches will be PG along with your BB course. There are a couple of IPSC shooters from the FSJ area i know of that shoot in Terrace every April.
 
There are at least 6 IPSC shooters in DC as well - one Master Class and more than one A class - Open and production. Nothing organized right now, though it has been talked about a great deal lately.
 
I understand that there are a couple guys in FSJ who are trained to RO and instruct the black badge course. One goes by cdmercan on the forum here. I am sure he can help you out with some info.

I had the same problem when I moved to Fort Nelson. I had my black badge but did not want to travel the 400km to FSJ for a match.

Now that I am living in Wetaskiwin AB, I have had to suck it up and rack on the miles to go to a match.

I'm just curious, when you are talking about FSJ, is it fort st-james???

just because I'm a IPSC shooter, and I spend couple of week over ther for my work, and I will have to going there again in couple of week, so if there is any IPSC match in this area, I will try to do thoses match!!!

Nope, FSJ is Fort St. John
 
We live in FN and would love to get something going up here!! I know Nick King just came to FSJ to teach a RO and BB course so i'm sure theres lots of interest! We'd totally go to FSJ to send lead down range!!! My Fiance has put on qualifiers and I've done fun matches so if there's someone to do the work/co-oridination we'd be in!
 
Hi there everyone. Yes, after we get done shooting at the provincial IPSC match in Lone Butte we will be putting on a black badge course again in Fort St John/Dawson Creek. First thing, are you going to provincials? and.....you two need to move to Whitehorse!:)

No were not going to provincials this year :( but we'll be gunz a blazin next year!
ummm well it would be a large improvement!
 
Hi, Chuck here, in Fort St John BC, yes we can help for sure. Actively setting up PAL and PALR courses for September 9&16th, shooting in the provincials at Lone Butte, the quailfiers in Prince George and Kelowna this fall,planning on holding a Black badge course in October. Give me a call and I can let you know what we are planning for the new year as well.
