IPSC Float in the Salmon Festival Parade

Actually, the body and the turret had to be taken out of the garage separately. There was only about two inches to spare on each side of the garage door when the body came out.

When I was a kid, the Army Navy Vets branch had a Dominion Day float that was Sherman tank-like. No one died looking at it. IMHO, that tank motif is effective and not offensive. Advertising is about recognition. If the club has a clean and positive image, and they get positive acknowledgment, then their marketing has been successful.

As for another image of IPSC, the sight of a rigged out shooter leaning into a modified handgun, just doesn't have a meaningful association to most people.
