Thanks in advance.

You might get few more responses if you posted this down is Action Shooting Games, but I'll give it a whack.

Holsters are a personal choice. Me and another gent use the same guns, but I use a kydex model while he has a Ghost holster. He spent more and it looks cool, but in the end, they both hold the gun and they're both reliable. Which one do you want? Flip a coin? Some have said that except for race guns (Open class), a race holster (Ghost, CR speed) is pretty much a waste. While I don't want to offend, I pretty much agree.

For mag pouches, CR Speed is a good choice. Adjustable angle and tension for not a lot of $$. You can get other makes but I personally can't justify the cost. You can also get mag type pouches. Yes, the magazine is held on by a magnet.

As for belts, there's DAA and CR Speed. I see a lot wearing the CR. I personally have a JR version that's giving up the ghost. You want one that is stiff. Yarding out your handgun, that last thing you want is your belt flexing and causing the holster to cant in toward your body. Makes for an awkward draw. I don't know how big you are, but the belts can be had in sizes up to 46" waist. Maybe larger.

For more info, I suggest calling Freedom Ventures (site sponser) and talking to them. There's also the IPSC store. www.ipsc.org/store/store.htm

Welcome to the sport.

I swear by Blade-Tech products. They sell IPSC and IDPA kits that have the holster and mag pouches. Not sure if they make CZ holsters though, might need to talk to CZ shooter.

For IPSC specifically Blade-tech "dropped offset" is the one to have. It places the gun in an easy place for quick draws. It's no good for IDPA but you can change the mount to CCW.

And yes, they do make ones for CZ and Shadow's in particular.

Bladetech DOH. Perfect for IPSC production class and if you take the drop-offset adapter off and mount the belt loops directly to the holster, you can use it for IPDA too.
