OK guys, thanks to many of you I was able to complete my BB course and now the only one thing I have to do is Level I and I am ready to move to next stage, where I have to spend lots of time shooting, learning, listening and watching others.

In mean time, I need some help. I want to start my IPSC shooting with Springfield 1911A1, which I will modify little bit. First thing will be mag well and longer HC mags from Willson.
Then I want to buy right holster and poches.
And here I need a help.

Which holster I should buy. From what I see CR speed is most popular by those who very serious about IPSC, which model I should get, top of the line one for 180 bucks or I can get away with cheaper one.

Pouches,
how many do I need, 4 or 5, or more? Which one should I buy, Safari or CR or others.

Please advice.

CR everything, inner outer belt very solid and rigid, 4 mag pouches, cr holster which works with most guns. To be competitive in IPSC you will need some pretty good equipment, if you go with a cheap for now, you will end up spending the $$ on a better one anyway, so why not save the $$ and get a good one to start with?

I would get a CR setup as you can use the mags holders and holster if you ever decide to use another pistol!

I think FV has some new hoslters and stuff instock.

Thanks, lots of good advice.
Ya, I want to start on the right foot and do not pay again.
Is there any telephone number for IPSC store I can call and ask few questions?

Thanks

Peter
