IPSC mag lengths?

Been out of the loop for a while, what is the poop about mag lengths in IPSC?

Production, mags must be same dimensions as OEM. Standard, gun must fit into the box with the mag inserted into the gun. Open, maximum length is 170mm.

I placed my order for 6 new mags in standard.

sp01 shadow does not have to do a fit in the box test as it is on the approved handgun list for prod and any aftermarket or original magazines which match the external dimensions of standard magazines offered by the OFM for the approved handgun are permitted.
