What is a worker slot mean. I tried to sign up for the Sharon Match but it said I had to Sign up for 4 worker slots.

What does this mean and what do I do as a worker.

I don't like this myself. Match is open for general signing (as per email send to me on Fri, 12:58) up and doesn't except anyone. It looks like some one is working still at the background adding helpers to the squads before it OPENS for others.

It's kind of unfair since I saw some people are not on the worker list, or did not signed up for 4 worker slots has their name on the shooting squard. And before we can even sign up, so many names were already there.

There is something insane with Sharon match registration... The system requires you to sign up for 4 working slots (2 1/4 hours * 4 = 9 hours). I suppose match admin meant to set it for 2 hours work, which would be fair.

The interface for selection working slots on ipsc-matches is rather hard to use. It doesn't track overlap between shooting and working and it is hard to switch back and forth between work and shooting. It would be much more convenient to have worker selection on the same page as shooting squad selection.

some clubs are playing games with the sign up

What if we didn't work for all slots we'd signed up???? No score??? Black Listed???
TOTALLY UNFAIR..... Go match the work list with the shoot list, so many names were not there but they can shoot~~~!!!!!!

If you work the 9 hours then you shoot for free. That sounds fair.
WTF?
I hope this is just a mistake.

I will RO a squad (If I am allowed) but 9 hours of work, I do not think so.

RO for 9 hrs seems a bit harsh I can do 4-5 hrs that day ,already RO on 17th all day plus work on Friday afternoon to set up a match ,help Im running out off time lol:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I think at the top of the sign up it says 4 worker spots per squad not that you must work 4 times. I signed up for one work spot and was squaded. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that people willing to work get first chance to book shooting spots.

There is no work requirement, it is a glitch and should be fixed tonight. If you signed up and filled in the 4 work shift you will not be working, just come and shoot at your selected time.

Thanks for looking into this, Pat. I started to wonder what you're planning to do with so many non RO workers on each range. The only explanation was that they will be used as props in your stages. :D
