So where can one go to download the Canadian Nationals results? IPSC Canada has nothing and IPSC.org only has top 10. I'm looking for actual PDF copies of as many years as possible.

edited to fix amazing spelling mistake.

We don't have a national results page and I'm not sure those have ever been downloaded and stored anywhere.

Actually it might be nice to have a results page on the IPSC Canada website, even if it was just for level III matches (provincials, summer slam, nationals etc.)

I think Summer SLam results are on the Dalhousie website..fyi. It might be as easy as contacting someone in BC, or Rachel in Ontario, or Sean about the PDF files for the last 3 nationals. I need to find some results as well and was wondering where to find them all...

Having the results able to be downloaded on the IPSC Canada page would rock. that there are currently no results of any kind there is kind of strange. I also find it weird that every year for the nationals the host page is from the club holding it. The main info page should be hosted on the Canada site, and the hosts given access to it. Keeps everything in one simple location.
If someone can email me the Overalls from 2010 and 2011 (I can't log into IPSC Ont) it would be much appreciated. rob at activeshooter dot ca

thanks

Let's hope that Ntls. results exclude those competitors from outside Canada so our top Cdn shooter in each division is awarded 100% when using those results for standings towards World Shoot etc......It would be necessary in order to properly compare yearly standings: for instance in 2011 in Open div. our top Cdn was 82.05 %, in 2010 the top Cdn in Open was 93.78 %

Got it. Didn't realize the Ont site used the Canadian one. Plus my autocomplete was adding an "s" to the password still.

So yes I now have the results.

Only if the percentages were ranked against the top Cdn being 100% each year would they be relative and consistent...otherwise, for example, if a shooter got 85% in the Ntls where 93.78% was the top Cdn then he would be receiving a score higher than the winning Cdn shooter in the next Ntls who had 82.05%...........why should a shooter who did not come possibly even 2nd, 3rd, or 4th one year have a score rated higher than the top Cdn in the next Nationals solely due to which Foreign shooters showed up to shoot?

race1911, what you are suggesting is not going to work either way, unless you have the same top competitors shooting every year. Which haven't been the case last 3 years. You have to normalize matches to the same 100%. Not even sure if it is possible. The USPSA classification is probably the closest thing to that.

We've had this discussion before, but we'll go over it again.

When the top shooter in a division is not from Canada, the top shooter from Canada is awarded a match score of 100% for the purposes of team standing. All shooters are scaled accordingly based on the top Canadian.

There have been many instances of a non-Canadian being the match winner, and in all cases, the top Canadian was awarded a match score of 100%. (Henning Wallgren twice, Manny Bragg once, Martin Kamenickek twice, Angus Hobdell once)

I'm not sure for what purposes Rob and Mo might be looking at it for.

I'm just looking for results since I started shooting. And can't believe they aren't online on IPSC Canada. BC has excellent results for us, but can't export to PDF (at least I don't know how).
