IPSC Nationals RO...unload & show clear?

Would anyone care to comment on how they might have positioned themselves differently at unload and show clear?

The RO is tall and can see the gun probably even over the guy's shoulder.

Might be the vid angle but no looking over the shoulder - clear view of the firearm.

His rugged good looks would, if uncovered, cause the camera to solely focus running close ups on his manly jaw, therefore preventing us from even seeing the shooter.

My guess would be that he wasn't breathing down the shooters neck, ready to body slam him if the gun wasn't clear.

That's what I was thinking as well.
Nothing wrong with giving the shooter a little personal space.

Hey here is a thought........
They could have positioned themselves differently by spinning around on one foot then standing on their head while whistling a jaunty toon.

That would be different.

Bingo Mike, I threw the second shot high on the left hand target. But 2nd place on that stage is still not too shabby!!

If I was to stretch and be an armchair ass from the camera angle. Looks like he did not even have any LOS on the handgun during the unload, show/make clear portion. Almost looks like the RO was behind him not worrying about shooter showing clear.

That is the only thing I could possibly see, but camera angle makes that a guess, not a known issue.
