The two year term of three of the IPSC Ont Board of Directors ends at the end of the year. Therefore the IPSC Ontario Election Committee is now accepting nominations to fill these positions. And yes, membership with IPSC Ontario is required to nominate, run, and vote in this election.

I am just finishing up notifying the Board and the candidates this afternoon... will advise by tonight... We do, indeed have enough nominees for an election.

Sitrep is published every 3, 4 or 5 months. Won't the elections be over before the candidate list is published ??

Sitrep is published on an "as required" basis.

There will be an issue published to handle the requirements for the election... which in fact has already been started in anticipation of an election.

I will talk to the Board and get the ok to post it here... but it appears the boss thinks we should wait til SitRep is published.

That being said, a notice went out to all the candidates and all of the board members today with a list of all names to appear on the ballot...so if you know one of the people running, ask them, they know. (Hell, they may even want to post the list here.)
