Just curious, but how often are the competitors classifications updated?

I'm sitting here in front of the provincials application form, wanting to check off B class instead of Unclassified.:( Looking back at the matches I've shot since last April, I'm not sure if the level II's had a M or GM and 10 shooters in Production.

Second time new guy blues I suppose.;)

Actually I'm the bottleneck...Rachael completed the updates as of Dec 31 and sent them to me for review...and will get them posted tomorrow.

To answer your question Dave...They are updated twice per year

Quigley,

is present classification system to stay, or board is working on something new?

Thanks

There has been a committe set up to review the current system...and make a proposal to the board.

The Board is hands off...

We'll report back to t he members when we get somthing back

Does that mean that the congratulations page will be updated as well? :D:D:D
I just noticed that the page is being stagnant from November 04, 2006:eek: :D:D

One thing that I've tried to get going in BC is that classification information is available online; members can check their current classification by just knowing their IPSCBC number.

As well, I keep a current database file generated by WinMSS available for Match Directors. If they download it and use it to populate a fresh install, they have the latest classification information for all members so that they don't even have to enter that information themselves.

There certainly appears to be a problem.

My son is listed as shooting ZERO matches last year.

I know he shot the EESA three gun L2, Burlington L2 and a Waterford L2 (might be 2009), as well as Drama Daze and the Nationals L3s.

Send a note to Rachel...

I see that he has a score in for Burlington...and he should have something for Drama Daze. The Nationals don't count (excpet in the years that they are held in Ontario)

There were 3 level 2 3 Guns that we attended last year. 2 in Barrie and EESA, as well I shot in Burlington and a match in Waterloo plus the Provincials. I have 2 Matches accounted for, LOL. I guess I will have to get a hold of Rachel as well.

It depends on who attended the match. Level 2 sanctioning does not always means it's a classifier...

Two shooters with a current class of 90% or better (per Division) have to attend
