Pretty soon we will run match qualifiers to go to Provincials. High demand, great to see so many shooting IPSC, speaks a lot for the sport.

RO/Volunteers/Worker assignments are posted to the IPSC Ontario web site under the shooters squadding lists.

There are several ppl that have volunteered but are not on the list becasue I was unable to contact them via email, most likely because I don't have the correct email address. If your name does not appear on the list and you want to help send me a email or a PM here and I will gladly attempt to fit you in somewhere.

There are also a few ppl that where unsure what day(s) they would be able to help so I did not include them on the list. If you are one of these ppl once you know what day you can help email or PM me and I will gladly try to fit you in too.

Thanks to all of you that have offered to help with the match, see you in July!

I was on the wait list and just got in today. Looks like I'm in one of the 9 AM Friday squads with Stormbringer.

Cross your fingers, there may be more cancellations now that we're getting closer to the date. You won't get in if you don't register though.

Yes, the organisers got me a cancellation slot as well. I must say they were going out of their way to try to find me a slot so give it a go.

I hear the MD can be bribed with boxed wine, rez smokes, or those bubble bath beads that make people get naked and eat homless peoples faces on the side of hiways.

Yes the MD is a bit odd but truth be told I convinced him to add a squad on Thursday because of some pictures I have of him in a squirrel suit doing some questionable things that he doesn't want me to show to the wife......

If that's the squirrel suit from Earl, don't let him con you into cleaning it. He pooped in it, he has to clean it. Either way I don't want it back until it's rosy fresh!

Fun, challenging match. I probably should have played it safer and stayed in my comfort zone but I went all out and ended up with a lot of stages with a mike on them.

I checked the prelim results in progress before I left the range and I'm glad to see a lot of other people zeroed stage 1 as well TWK

Damn it was hot. I'll have to take a picture at some point of my shooting cart. By the end of the day the bottom of it was full of empty Gatorade and water bottles.

Nice meeting Stormbringer, Lonedrone, and the EESA crew in person finally.

Good luck to all competitors.

It was nice meeting you as well - and I personally think stage 1 should be renamed Stage 0 to better reflect how it worked!

It is just very unfortunate that there was no video allowed on the range and I think that should be something IPSC Ontario looks carefully at before awarding provincial matches in the future (maybe even any level III's as well). I know there is some discussion going on in the IPSC Ontario forums and Facebook groups about this as well so hopefully there will be some progress on this front.

Thanks to all the RO's yesterday, good luck to the rest of the competitors (since I'm already out of it anyway :)) and keep well hydrated!
