After a few months of download and tracking my personal match results, I decided to turn the work I was doing into a full site for IPSC match stats, and analysis.

For anyone in IPSC Ontario, you can now view all the posted match stats all in a single place with a personal summary of your best and worst performances!!..

Since I have downloaded all the posted stats (where possible), anyone in ontario can see thier results as well. (Also note that you need the IPSC ontario userid and password to be able to login to the site.. if you need the password, please don't be asking me for it, you have to contact IPSC ontario to get it.)

Please Note: this is not an official IPSC Ontario web site, Nor affiliated with IPSC Ontario. I have just taken the match results and put them into an online web site for reporting and analysis.

The Site is located at http://www.tanfo11.com/ipsc

Have Fun...

I was having one of those OCD moments last week, and decided to play with the stats that I had.. (it ended up being a 2 day obsession to turn it into a full system)

I was thinking that the classification calculations as well as showing which matches are qualifiers can be made as well.

It's a great thing, but I'm having a hard time reading the black text against the gray background in the 'Match' column of the Personal Advisor Table.

hehe, nice, but we just need a filter on it to not display any matches below a given place/percentage (so we only focus on the good ones, haha!) :)

Any chance you'd be willing to expose an API? Or just let us download your database?

I'm working on an MSS member DB for match directors to be able to import the list of competitors (so they don't have to type in new shooters), as well as an upload for match directors to send in results.

a few other goodies as well.

I've considered giveing access to it through microsoft access, but there are security issues around that, that I need to consider first. I could also do a csv export (but it won't have a lot of the calculations as I do those real time.)

I for one would love a CSV export of the raw data. I am salivating at the thought of the SQL queries that could be run against such a data set. :)

Is your data import mechanism mostly/fully automated? I once thought about writing software to parse the .txt results files, but quickly decided to save my sanity instead. ;)
