IPSC Production - CZ SP01 Mags

I tried with empty mags and the slide will stay back. I will find my dummy rds and see if it's different with full loaded mags.

I know I experimented with Omens guns and mags one of the times he and I went shooting, and I found the Tan mags did not allow the slide to go forward on a full mag on insertion in any gun. From what I could determine it's because the Tan mags are stopped by the mag catch, as opposed to the mag base plate contacting the mag well at the same time as the mag catch in engaged. (does that make sense?). the Tan mags end up with about 2mm of free space between the base plate and the gun, whereas the other mags, especially the Baby Eagle ones, are touching the gun, and actually put a bit of pressure on the catch.

You can get the factory 19 rd mags in the US or sometimes they pop up on the EE. I didn't want to wait so i got the tangfolgio mags.

According to Vince you can have non oem mags that fit the outside dimensions of the original. Here is a picture of the OEM 19 rd mag and tangfoglio mag C003.

This is great news!

You are correct. The Tang mags stick out about 2-3mm from the magwell. The factory 10 and 19 rd mags fully contact the frame when inserted. I'll post some pictures when i get back home tonight.
