Just curious as I know a fellow who has used one of these for a while now and really likes it. I just picked one up as well and don't really see how I could drop a gun out of it any easier than any other race holster.

I just think the open front blade tech is too sloppy. I like the regular model. For a newbie I would recommend the regular one based on personal experience. At least with a CR speed you can increase retention while going from stage to stage by applying the lock.
 
Hmmmmmm......not good!!

I will see how it goes I guess. I have never dropped a gun (knock on wood....ouch :) ) and I don't want to start - so I will have to give this new holster a good workout before I use it in a match.

John try bending over and tying your shoes while wearing the holster. You will soon learn wether or not you have a worry or not. I suspect not given the holster is relatively new in their product line. See you on the 18th.
