Hi all,

I have a couple of questions for the experts...

What kind of adjustable sights can I put on my Springfield P9 that would still be legal for IPSC production?

Where can I get them?

Easy to install myself, or should I ask Jason at Gunco to do it?

Thanks guys.

Phil

if that particular sight, (same sight model) is an option , then you can attached that sight. check your gun manufacturer and inquire about their sights option.

Specifically, you can use the same type of sights that your gun was originally supplied with, or could have been supplied by the factory.

If your gun had post and notch fixed sights with no other option, then you can use any other post and notch fixed sights, such as Heinie or Novak, but you cannot use adjustable.

If your gun came with fibreoptic as an original option, then you can use any fibreoptic sight, if not then you cannot.

If the gun was originally sold with, or had as a factory option, a post and notch adjustable sight, then any post and notch sight may be fitted, such as Bomar, LPA, etc.

Unless the gun was optioned with night sights, you cannot install night sights. Ditto ghost ring sights.

If you buy it with no night sights, or without adjustables, YET the factory or OEM offered these as an option, you can install them as long as the are the same style and type offered by the manufacturer.

IE: you purchased an "HK" with just plain post and notch sights, but later wanted to put on night sights, than that would be ok, "IF" the OEM offered night sights as an option for that model.
