IPSC production sight question

For you experts out there, as I found the rulebook to be a bit confusing...

I have a steyr M9-A1 that I'm using for production division, but I'm not a big fan of the screwy trapezoid sights on it, and I was hoping to get them swapped out for a set of fiber optics that I've seen people use.

Is this allowed in production?

and if so, where might one find these sights?

Yes, you can. But only if you don't need to do any alterations to the slide to install. Good luck sourcing parts for the steyr. Try cgn dealer (tse) or brownells.
