Like the title says, we are having an IPSC qualifier in Ft St John, BC this summer on June 14 and 15. As far as I know there are still spots available. There is a banquet on the Saturday evening, and the door prize table will have at least three guns on it, along with enough other goodies for every shooter to take home something. For more info or to register, the email address is NEBC_IPSC@hotmail.com. Hope to see a bunch of people there. Thanks,
Kristian

I'm running out of practice days :(

2 more weeks of night shifts and it'll just about be go-time! Looking forward to it!

Of the 40, are there very many Classic division?

I don't know how many will be shooting classic, but I'm sure it will be a few. Myself, my wife, and at least one other local will be shooting classic. This is my first match, and I don't know any of the people coming from out of town yet.

Heading out shortly for my last practice session. Note to self: Quit buying new stuff right before a shoot. :p

My info shows a start time of 9am with registration at 7. This will be my first shoot, should I be there right at 7? As I'm inexperienced... Is it easy to determine where I should go, unload, etc?

It's my first match too, but I'm planning on being there right around 7. As far as parking, there are a few spots in front of each individual range, and along the side of the road coming in. I'm pretty sure there will be a few safe areas marked out and you can take your gun out of the case and holster up. Loading mags can be done anywhere else, I think. I'm sure any questions can be answered at registration, which is part of the reason I want to be there nice and early.

Want to send out a big thank you to the organizers for the match. I had a great time and the prize table was awesome!
I also met a bunch of great new shooters.
Thanks again and hope to see more matches in the future.

Thanks for coming up, it wouldn't have been near as much fun if it was just a few of us locals. It was lots of fun shooting with people and putting faces to a few names.

That was an excellent shoot; thanks again for everyone's efforts! My second day didn't go as planned... But I had a lot of fun and learned a tremendous amount. Going to work on some key things for my next couple range sessions. Looking forward to next year. :)
