IPSC Recipe's

Thanks Quigley, I am shooting a 9mm Ruger P-89. I know Mass (Dragoon) and got the recipe you suggested (147gr with 3.6 of Vit N320) from him.

I have not asked him if there was a power factor requirement for the BB but I have heard rumor some guys have shot factory on past courses. I just basically dismissed using factory as I am all set up with a Dillon 550b and losts of components.

Does anyone have a good recipe for the 9mm using titegroup???

Sounds like you have it well in hand...and probably a non issue as that load should make better than 125...

Good luck

Shoot factory if you have to. It is not that hard once you get used to it. If you do that for a while and then start loading your own at just above PF. I have a feeling you will find your own reloaded ammo to be very comfortable.
I noticed the difference between factory 147gr 9mm Winchester at 144pf, and then shooting some reloads I made at another shooters house using montana 147gr projectiles. It comfortably made it over 125pf, but honestly felt very easy to shoot, minimal recoil. I am using some reloaded 147gr at approx. 135 pf this summer. Not sure how I will do, but if it works out i will be sticking to this stuff.

Abman yes you can...but not for score at any NS match...perhaps in NB

Are you telling me that there is a requirement? Show me were.....as long as the pistol is above 9mm you would be good to go....;) who care what is the PF....for the BB.....

If you are shooting reloads, it's worth the effort to chamber check each round. It can save you from a world of misery.

Another way is to use the Lee Factory Crimp die as a 4th die. It has a carbide sizer in it to post size the case and confirm it will fit in a standard chamber.

I had some 9mm commercial reloads from a few years back and they wouldn't fit well in one gun. I ran them all through this die and problem solved.
